Developing an advertising strategy
- 1. Defining
product and service: Defining product and service means to determine the
service and product offer by the company before developing strategy and plane
for marketing. We must understand the relation between the consumer and the
product base on effective advertising. It is also very important to determine
the prime goal of the product of the company.
- Understanding the target audience – This
is one of the important stage for developing the strategy. In this stage various
factors are to be consider such as physiography factor, demographic
factor, behavior patterns.
- Market research – Next step after the
target audience is to do market research for that product. To analyse
research related to product already available in market. The preference of
the consumer related to that product is to detriment.
- Developing a marketing plan – A plane must
be formed as per the market research done. This means a marketing plan is
created after deterring the current events in the market. The plan is
quite different of the other product so that it stands out in the market.
- Deciding communication media – After the
marketing plan has been made then the next step is to determine the medium
to advertise the product. There are different kind of medium, so it is
very important to determine the correct medium for the product.
- Budget – the budget is the most important part of the advertising strategy as proper finance is required to make the strategy run. If the appropriate about of finance is not allotted, then it may create problems in the advertisement of that product.
- Modifying advertising strategy – If in
the process is not running according to strategy made then the modifying
of strategy can be done, and a new strategy can be formed so that it achieves
its aim.
